yeah but part of being mature and being grown up is being realistic and setting an example. Redmond threw a prima donna ish hissy fit in front of the whole world instead of bearing it like a man.
A real tragedy is when these ethiopian and african runners, 4 whom a good run, is the only passsport out of a life of abject poverty get tripped and thrown over by some russian athlete in the olympics to quote han in enter the dragon “how many delicate wonders have been lost”

i mean cmon it wasnt like anyone expected him to get a medal or anything, he wasnt gonna achieve anything in the single 400m race. It wasnt like a decker going over, or a el guerrouj going over and being favourites for the gold
Redmond probably only pretended to be injured because he knew he wasn’t going to qualify for the 400m final. He told his dad to jump out onto the track if he was losing so that he could showboat and get attention to line up endorsements.

Redmond’s dad was wearing a Nike shirt and hat. The shirt said “Have you hugged your foot today?” and the hat “Just do it”
The logo on his dad’s shirt is gone on the commercial. I guess it was “advertising” or something.
